Eligibility of Students for an Installment Payment Plan

   1. You must have been admitted as a student in the Academic Year 2023 or earlier.
   2. You should not have any outstanding tuition and fees or other charges owed to the University.
   3. If you had an installment plan in the previous semester, you need to settle any outstanding tuition and fees by the specific last payment date mentioned in the installment agreement.
   4. You should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.
   5. If you have a government student loan, you can apply for a tuition and fee installment plan each semester. However, please note that in the first semester, this option is only available for students with a loan amount lower than the total tuition and fees.
   6. Students with partial university scholarships and additional tuition and fees can also opt for installment plans.

Required Documents to be Submitted in Electronic Format with a Request for the Installment Payment Plan (For Thai-National Students)

In case a request is made by Father/Mother/Legal Guardian of the student
1. A copy of the National Identification Number of the student
2. A copy of the House Registration of the student
3. A copy of the National Identification Card of the father/mother/legal guardian who request for the installment payment plan for the student
4. A copy of the House Registration of the father/mother/legal guardian who request for the installment payment plan for the student
5. A copy of the Registration Slip (BU. 018)

In case a request is made by the student
1. A copy of the National Identification Number of the student
2. A copy of House Registration of the student
3. A copy of the Registration Slip (BU. 018)
4. A letter of consent to be used for an agreement for the installment payment plan (Click Download)

**Remarks:
– All pages of the submitted documents must be certified true copy.
– A submission of all required documents and the agreement for the installment payment plan must be completed as specified and as determined by the University.

Required Documents to be Submitted with a Request for the Installment Payment Plan (For International Students)

1. A certified true copy of the student’s passport
2. A copy of the Registration Slip (BU. 018)
3. A letter of consent from the parent or legal guardian of the student (Click Download)

**Remarks:
– All pages of the submitted/required documents must be certified true copy.
– A submission of all required documents and the agreement for the installment payment plan must be completed as specified and as determined by the University.
– International Students who require a Non-Immigrant Education Visa, please note that, for the Installment Payment Plan, a visa extension covers only until the end of each installment period, not for a whole semester.

Procedures for the Installment Payment Plan are as follows.

1. Students who wish to request for the installment payment plan must file a request and submit required documents via http://financialaids.bu.ac.th .
2. After submission of the request and all required documents, the students will be able to check a result of the request via BU mail by 16.00 hrs. of the next working-day.
3. When approved for the installment payment plan, students are required to enter into an agreement for the installment payment plan via online system/electronic system.
4. When approved to pay for the registration expense with the installment payments, the students must complete a payment of each installment via a specified channel of payment, within a due date and time as specified by the University.

** Remarks: Students receiving the Student Loan Fund or the Income Contingent Loan are required to print the Registration Slip for Students of the Student Loan Fund or the Income Contingent Loan (BU.018) via https://findocs.bu.ac.th/scholarloan/RegisterReport.aspx , before submitting a request for the installment payment plan.

Schedules for the Installment Payment Plan Request Submission Period and Payment Period

***Students are eligible to file a request for the Installment Payment Plan only once per semester.***

Semester 1 of the Academic Year 2024 (For Students Admitted in the Academic Year 2023 or earlier)

Students are eligible to pay for the registration expense in 4 installments, as follows:

The 1st Installment: Students are required to pay a minimum of 40% of the registration expense within a payment period as specified by the University.
The 2nd Installment: Students are required to pay a minimum of 30% of the registration expense within a payment period as specified by the University.
The 3rd Installment: Students are required to pay a minimum of 20% of the registration expense within a payment period as specified by the University.
The 4th Installment: Students are required to pay a remaining balance of the registration expense within a payment due date as specified by the University.

The 2nd Installment: Students are required to pay a remaining balance of the registration expense within a payment period as specified by the University.

***Remarks: The students and their parent/legal guardian shall enter into an agreement to pay for the registration expense by the installment payments within a specified period as determined by the University or the approved installment payment plan is deemed invalid. In addition, details of the payment rate of the installments, a number of the installments, terms and conditions and consideration for approval of the installment payment are as determined by the University.
